SCOPE Art Show
In-house graphic design internship at SCOPE in New York City, 2019
In persuit of personal growth and professional development, I challenged myself to live and work abroad in an unfamiliar environment after the completion of my university degree. Somewhere I have never been to, with zero connections: New York City, United States.
Alone in a busy, fast-paced city bustling with action, it was an eye-opening, inspiring and transformative experience that truly pushed the boundaries of my abilities - both as an individual, and as an aspiring graphic designer.
Over the span of four months, I worked fulltime as an in-house graphic design intern at SCOPE Art Show - a company that held annual contemporary art fairs in NYC, Miami Beach and Basel. I was a part of the Miami Beach project, and got to witness the show come to life in Miami.
It was extremely difficult at times, but this internship was one of the most rewarding and invaluable experiences I have ever had in my life. I learnt a lot about the creative industry, the American culture and myself.
A big thank you to ArtBound Initiative for accepting me into their internship program, and for filming my testimonial video.
